Join NACIDD members to discuss, finalize, and vote on an initial set of recommendations to the HHS Secretary and ASPR regarding challenges, opportunities, and priorities for national public health and medical preparedness, response, and recovery, specific to the needs people with disabilities in disasters.
The NACIDD is inviting key stakeholder groups to address the committee and share their ideas on issues related to meeting the specific health needs of people with disabilities during and after disasters and emergencies. We are especially interested in hearing comments from representatives of academia, professional groups, advocacy organizations, or U.S. state, tribal, territorial, or local governments.
Stakeholders can also submit questions or comments to NACIDD ahead of the meeting by sending an email to NACIDD@hhs.gov, which board members will consider during the meeting as time allows.
