Therapeutics

During the COVID-19  response, H-CORE coordinated across the federal government on the acquisition and distribution of a broad variety of COVID-19 therapeutics to help reduce severe disease, hospitalizations, and deaths.

The federal government invested in and distributed a variety of FDA-authorized or approved products including monoclonal antibodies, pre-exposure prevention therapies, and oral antivirals.

H-CORE made these therapeutic products available at no cost to state and territorial health departments, community health centers, and federal retail pharmacy partners  across the country, including thousands of  Test to Treat sites nationwide. Nearly 30 million therapeutic courses were distributed between November 2020 and December 2023.
