As part of the whole-of-government response to Hurricane Ian, ASPR has deployed teams of medical professionals – doctors, nurses, paramedics, and pharmacists – and emergency responders to help local hospitals and communities respond to health needs in the wake of the storm.
We have more than 150 medical professionals, incident management personnel, and HHS health emergency experts as well as supplies deployed in and around the storm’s impact zones – surging support to where it’s needed most. These professionals are experts in augmenting, bolstering, and providing relief to hospitals and other healthcare facilities in need.
