NETN: National Emergency Telemedicine Network

A Nimble All-Hazards Disaster Telemedicine Capability

NETN, ASPR’s telemedicine program, will be a coordinated all-hazards disaster telemedicine capability for the rapid deployment of personnel virtually during public health emergencies and disasters. This will serve as a force multiplier by expanding clinical care to multiple disaster-stricken regions during and after concurrent or widespread emergencies, including those at hard-to-reach and austere sites.

The NETN disaster telemedicine capability will provide a more efficient and less resource intensive rapid mechanism for deploying clinical personnel to the field to support emergency response remotely, including to multiple sites at the same time.
