BARDA’s activities are a part of a larger HHS influenza research strategy and are a regular aspect of ASPR’s preparedness responsibilities. The agency’s mission is to assist the country in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from public health emergencies and disasters. ASPR has subject matter experts available to discuss the agenda in greater detail upon request. Additional information about ASPR response operations can be found at aspr.hhs.gov/H5N1.
