What motivated you to work at ASPR? I was hired to provide Help Desk Support when ASPR moved into the O’Neill Building. As I learned what ASPR does it made me feel proud to be part of a great organization, so I started to look forward to growing in the organization.
The Office of Facilities Management touches the entire organization, and everything that Facilities does impacts all employees. It’s great to know almost everyone in ASPR around the SW Complex and offer them the support they need so they can do their job in an environment that supports their service to serve the nation.
Does your heritage shape the way that you serve the public or give you a unique perspective that contributes to public service? As an immigrant, I can see that each organization within the US Government has a huge impact to the entire country, and all around the globe. This is a great example to follow all around the world, and that makes me proud of what I do as a Supply Management Specialist and Facilities Operations, and to be part of ASPR which is an awesome organization that always is above and beyond if an emergency comes like the C19, hurricanes, wildfires, etc.
Has your work impacted Hispanic or Latin American communities? When we talk about ASPR, it means that if an emergency comes, ASPR will be there to help all the communities no matter ethnicity. And I know for a fact that the Hispanic community has been positively impacted by ASPR in those situations.
