The Office of Strategy, Policy, Planning, and Requirements (SPPR) within HHS/ASPR Incident Command and Control (ICC), ensures ASPR’s operational preparedness and response capabilities coincide with ASPR’s priorities, align with broader policy and planning considerations, are adequately resourced based on strategic priorities, and are effectively evaluated through data-driven analysis.

SPPR encompasses ASPR's policy planning lifecycle, bridging SPPR’s four functional divisions with other ASPR elements to adapt and shift quickly between steady state and response operations.

Strategy Division

Oversees a strategic approach to ASPR priorities and provides an anticipatory, long-term perspective on national health security to advance preparedness and response initiatives for the ASPR and HHS Secretary. Learn more...
